What happens to water after it is used? How is water recycled? Come to NEW Water for a tour of the third largest wastewater treatment plant in the state of Wisconsin! There is no charge for any of our tours.
All tours must be scheduled a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. Unscheduled, drop-in tours will not be conducted. To schedule a tour, fill out the tour request form and we will be in contact to confirm the tour. We can customize our tours for the needs of each group, so please let us know if you have any specific focus.

Tours are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (the last tour slot of the day possible, per availability and scheduling, would begin at 2:30 p.m.)
Prior to arriving, please ensure that all group members are in the appropriate attire. Closed-toe, sturdy, flat soled shoes and long pants are required of all participants, if not worn participants will not be able to go on the tour, and may be asked to leave. Wear comfortable attire as there will be a considerable amount of walking and stairs, though accommodations can be made, with advance notice, for visitors with any special needs. Unfortunately, the tour is not wheelchair accessible. Tour groups will spend about half of their time indoors and half outdoors, so appropriate dress for the weather is recommended.
